About Adonai Outdoor

I have lived in Oklahoma City my entire life & am thankful to be a part of this community. Growing up, I was homeschooled along with my four younger sisters by my mom through high school & played sports throughout my childhood. After high school, I accepted a football scholarship with Southern Nazarene University where I got my degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation, I was given the honor of being able to coach with the Oklahoma City Homeschool Patriots football organization where I played throughout high school. I have been coaching for 10+ years; it has been a huge privilege & blessing to be a part of the Patriots organization. In 2010, I started working in the lawn care & landscape industry. In 2012, the Lord led me to start Adonai Outdoor & we have been fortunate enough to grow each year since. I count myself unbelievably blessed to represent Adonai Outdoor on a daily basis. It is a great joy for me to serve the Lord in each & every area of my life. I highly value hard work & enjoy everyday I am able to work for the Lord's company, Adonai Outdoor!  Blessings!

I am married, & have two teenage boys. As a family we love all things outdoors: hunting, fishing, & sports. My love of hunting when I was younger is what led me to work in lawn & landscaping. I was able to work hard all year & when mowing slowed down in October & November, I was able to hit the woods and & enjoy nature for a few months. Now, as my kids have gotten older, we spend as much time as we can out in nature. The older I have gotten, the more I have grown towards learning & understanding the weed & pest side of things & have really enjoyed it. I have now been in the "outdoor maintenance" side of things for almost 30 years, weed & pest specifically for over 10 years. The weather determines each year the specific weeds & pests we are going to encounter. Oklahoma's changing weather provides me with more opportunities to learn, as the weather impacts everything we do & treat. Always a challenge and always learning!

I am blessed to be married to my wife, Sandra, of 38+ years. Our 5 children provide so much joy & fulfillment. I have been in & out of the lawn care industry for about 40 years. I retired from the Oklahoma City Police Department & went into full-time ministry over 25 years ago. Along with Adonai, I am an area coordinator for Youth For Christ & am the chaplain for the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching football, working outside, & keeping vehicles/equipment clean & in working order.  I also love teaching marriage training with my wife & investing in the next generation. My roles with Adonai include inventory, purchasing, maintenance, & sales of supplies & equipment. I also assist with new sales & customer relations.
